Recognizing a need for water well products as settlers were heading west at the end of the Civil War, Charles B. Dempster moved to Beatrice, Nebraska and founded what is now Dempster Industries in the year 1878.  Although we have since grown to become a major manufacturer of submersible and centrifugal pumps for the water well industry we still manufacture Windmills and Hand Pumps.  Our Annu-Oiled Windmills need only a slight breeze and oil once a year to provide a lifetime of strong, reliable service.
